Objawy
- Infected tubers often produce healthy plants
- In some cases a stunted stem will be produced
- Leaves can appear mottled, sometimes with yellow chevrons and pinched tips
- Varietal differences in susceptibility
- Tuber symptoms of brown arcs (spraing) in susceptible varieties
Infection and spread
- Nematode hosts (Paratrichodorus spp. and Trichodorus spp.)
- Nematodes can feed on a wide range of plants
- Solanum dulcamara (woody nightshade) often grows along watercourses and can infect irrigation water
